DOING NOTHING IS DOING SOMETHING

Hii guys, Thank God it’s Friday! And I can breatheeeee😂. I feel sooo happy because there’s no pressure, no intense activity close by and I’m just in my own space, doing my own thing. I hope your week was fine and if it wasn’t all that, the weekend is here and you can rest up and have a little fun before Monday comes.

Today🎤 *coughs, I’ll be picking your brain on a very interesting topic especially to Nigerians. For starters, ELECTIONS! ELECTIONS! ELECTIONS! Now you have an idea. Personally, I had to consciously unlearn one thing last year. The thought that “my vote doesn’t count” . Why did I unlearn it?
– the more you tell yourself something, you believe it.
– If majority of people have this mentality, we’re doing nothing and in essence going no where.
– When we end up doing nothing, we’re doing something in return which most times, is supporting the negative.
Most young people are leveraging on the not too young to run bill that was passed and are coming out to be involved in policy making on decisions that pertain to them because they know they can make a difference.
The world is taking a swift turn in terms of civilization, technologically and otherwise. Social media is getting really explosive and just creating a trend on Twitter can cause physical awareness.

Nigeria shouldn’t be left out on this. Elections are around the corner, youths are the most important force in any society and when we form a coalition, we’re stronger than we can ever imagine. We’ve had enough, GET YOUR PVC’s READY and if you don’t have it, convince people around you to come out and vote. Not just voting , but to vote for young people and not people who should have retired and lack energy and strength.
YOUR VOTES COUNT, YOU CAN DO SOMETHING BY VOTING THE RIGHT CANDIDATE AND NOT A POPULAR PARTY.

We can go on and on but don’t forget, DOING NOTHING IS DOING SOMETHING which most times tilts towards the negative.
Just something light to think on and ginger your spirit this Friday.
