OUR TESTIMONY

Hi guys,
Happy Easter Sunday to every Christian out there and to everyone willing to welcome this message.
It’s Easter and I’m really not the type to say things like “Jesus is risen, he is back”. I believe he arose a long time ago, seated in heaven at God’s side and while some of us are rewatching the movie “passion of Christ”, it’s not a bad thing. Then again, it really is more than the tears and emotions but basking in the love of God stretched to humanity and taking advantage of the resurrection power.

So I’ll just drop 2 scriptures:
Rev12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

I’ve known this scripture for some years now but got the proper light of it during my choir concert when the preacher shared the word.
As Christians, what is our SHARED TESTIMONY? It’s simple, that Christ came to die for us, took the keys of life and death from the devil and in that act, the foundation of Christianity was strengthened. In that act, we should bask in the knowledge that if Jesus has risen and already taken the keys of life and death from the devil then we have overcome him and his schemes.
Rev12:11 tells us that by the blood that was shed on Calvary, we have already overcome the devil and that is our great testimony. We just need to act with authority and dominion in lieu of this knowledge. Which brings me to the second verse…

Romans 8:11
The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead and just as the Bible says, It is my prayer that every Christian basks in this knowledge of the power of resurrection. The same spirit that raised christ, dwells in you and just as he gave life to Christ’s body, he will give life to your body in whatever area you “THINK“ is dead. That business, that health condition, that relationship…you name it. THROUGH THE POWER OF RESURRECTION, HE’S BREATHING LIFE INTO EVERYTHING CONCERNING YOU.
And this is your assurance:
Numbers 23:19
God is not man, one given to lies, and not a son of man changing his mind. Does he speak and not do what he says? Does he promise and not come through?

Let us also not forget that he died for humanity, he died because he loved us. He died to restore the connection between God and man and to make it easy to communicate to the father, to bridge that gap. So embrace his love today, confess your sins and run into his arms because he’s waiting for you. Let this resurrection re-ignite a change in your life today and give you something to think about.
