The Angolan people over time have embraced the Western-style clothing as some tribes can still be seen wearing the traditional clothings like animal skin clothings.
The villages of Angola put on traditional clothes as women wear PANOS, an African batik garment.
The women also decorate themselves with different types of aprons and loincloths usually made with woven vegetable fiber. They put on body adornments such as bracelets, necklaces, bead ornaments.
The men wear tattoos which is a symbol of prestige and status.They also put on costumes which are made from vegetable fabric and are worn from the shoulder downwards. Nowadays, they prefer wearing a shirt and jean trouser as an embracement of western-style clothing.
