PLEASURE AND PURPOSE

I was having a very deep conversation with a friend yesterday and I don’t know when this dropped into my heart “stop feeding your pleasures and starving your purpose”.

As you step into this new week, make it a point of duty to be conscious and intentional about you actions, decision and choices. Weigh them against your flaws. That nobody is perfect shouldn’t be an excuse for fueling your complacency. Are you intentional about curbing your flaws or you simply don’t want to grow up?

Some actions you continuously engage in can continue to set you steps back as opposed to where you ought to be and ironically, you’ll have no clue now. Start working towards the character that fuels your purpose. Feed your purpose and starve your pleasures because in purpose you’ll find truer and better pleasures.

Have an amazing week.
