Sierra Leone is one of the Anglophone, i.e., English-speaking countries in West Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, and The Gambia. English is the official language used for administrative, legal, and documentative purposes.
There are over twenty native languages found and spoken in Sierra Leone, including Mende, Temne, Limba, and Krio.
